On August 18th, 2018 a group of committed and caring Glens Falls Region neighbors gathered at a location in Queensbury to complete a journey that originally began in 2010. The goal of the day was to fill a gap in the needs of cancer patients, those in the community going through one or more of the many types of cancer treatments. Our team of more than 20 individuals came together and, with the support of the community, raised over $2,600. These funds were given to the C.R. Wood Cancer Center at Glens Falls Hospital.

The breakdown of the funds raised in 2018 went directly to support cancer patients and their families in their time of need. We were able to support Glens Falls Region neighbors as follows:

Based on the continued need in the community, we are again reaching out into the community to engage both individuals and business to seek help in our mission. Starting in 2019 we are offering sponsorship opportunities to drive the amount of support we can reach to a higher level, providing our local neighbors the opportunity to live a normal day-to-day life without fear as they walk through extraordinary situations due to their condition.
